Millikin Decatur Executive Association
Advancing the continuing education of members through regular meetings where topics of mutual concern are explored to assist the CEO in developing skills and acquiring information valuable to the leadership task and future planning.
Members of the Millikin-Decatur Executive Association are a diverse group of business leaders committed to exploring new skills and information valuable to the leadership role.
GOALS:
To educate CEO's and business owners on topics of mutual interest through special programs featuring keynote speakers.
To routinely meet and develop stronger relationships with other CEO's and top management.
To establish a close relationship between Millikin University 's Tabor School of Business and local business leadership.
To bring together top management from locally owned businesses to learn from each other's experience.

James Wiemken
James Wiemken of Standard & Poors is a managing director in Corporate and Government Ratings and head of the State and Local Government Ratings Group. The Group is responsible for new issue rating assignment and ongoing surveillance on over 13,000 state and local government credits. Jim previously was a regional economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of
Richmond
specializing in state and local economic analysis. Specific research interests included estimating the effects of NAFTA and studying unintended incentives and consequences in banking legislation. He holds a M.B.A. from
Yale
University
and a B.A. in Economics and French from
Millikin
University
